Here's a souvenir from Germany 1981---it ain't as clear as a E72 box with souvenir trunk but it sounds better than the K-tel 8-track that came out of the dash speaker.

Evan S. Hunt, oh_uh_um_ah (yes,I know).
cc is on a major reviewing tear. Good job cc.

Dr. Flashback is good.

The reviewer with all the AAAAA's with the accent drives me nuts.

For sheer entertainment value J-Boy is head and shoulders above anyone else I've ever read here.

Dr Flashback is my favorite, and there are several contenders for second mostly listed above. When I first got into downloading off the LMA in 2003 on to 2006, it was Dr Flashback that I looked for in the reviews. Then I became a completist, (certainly up to somewhere in the 1980's) and I started looking for the best sounding version of every show available, usually guided by the review section, then by the transfer legends I came to know, lastly - I tried to trust my own ears - hard to do at the computer, but the past few years I have had a better pair of speakers hooked up than in the early days.

I agree with you and fireeagle: dr. flashback was a reviewer I always read, as well as capn doubledose. Having had only a handful tapes over the years, no gd hour, and no older heads to talk with, I had NO idea what I was getting into when I first started coming here in the spring of '04.
